a small studio with deep roots ↴

We plant ideas & grow software.

Gitcept is a workshop where rough sketches become real, living products. We tend every line of code like something that has to last a season — and then many more.

things we're good at ✶

Hand-built, never mass-produced.

No templates pulled off a shelf. Every project starts as a blank page and gets shaped by hand until it fits you exactly.

Web & app building

Sites and applications that feel quick, sturdy, and unmistakably yours — front to back.

our roots

Cloud & infrastructure

Quiet, dependable foundations underneath, so the thing you built keeps standing through any weather.

Design & prototyping

We sketch, test, and refine the feel of a product before a single pixel gets locked in place.

the bloom
from seed to harvest ✶

How a thing grows here.

Four seasons, give or take. It's not magic — it's patience, craft, and a lot of small decisions made carefully.

1

We listen

Before anything, we sit with you and understand what you're really trying to make — and who it's for.

2

We sketch

Rough drafts, fast. We try shapes and ideas on paper and on screen until the right one feels obvious.

3

We build

Now the real construction begins — careful, well-tested, made to hold up long after launch day.

4

We tend

We hand you something alive, then keep watering it. Updates, fixes, and room to keep growing.

We believe good software is grown, not stamped out. It takes hands that care, time that's honest, and the patience to let an idea become exactly what it was meant to be.

Got a seed of an idea?

Let's find out what it could grow into. The first conversation is always free.

our little story ✶

A few people who'd rather grow things than churn them out.

Gitcept started at a kitchen table in 2024 with a stubborn belief: that software made slowly and carefully is simply better software.

We were tired of the factory model — the rushed deadlines, the copy-paste templates, the products that felt the same as everything else. So we left, and we built the kind of studio we actually wanted to work at.

That meant fewer clients, more attention. It meant treating every project like a garden plot rather than an assembly line. Some things take a season to grow right, and we made peace with that a long time ago.

Today we're a tight-knit team scattered across a few time zones, but we still work the same way we did at that kitchen table: hands-on, honest, and a little obsessive about the details nobody else notices.

"We'd rather make ten things we're proud of than a hundred we'll forget by spring."

We're not the cheapest, and we're not the fastest. What we are is careful — and the people we work with tend to stick around for years because of it.

what we tend by ✶

The things we won't compromise on.

i.

Patience over panic

Good work has a pace. We protect it, even when the world wants everything yesterday.

ii.

Honesty, always

If an idea won't work, we'll tell you. If we made a mistake, we'll own it. No spin.

iii.

Craft in the details

The corners nobody inspects are exactly where we spend our extra hour.

iv.

Built to outlast us

We write things that the next person can read, fix, and grow without cursing our names.

things folks ask ✶

Questions, answered.

How long does a project usually take?

A simple site might take two to four weeks. A full application is usually two to four months. We'll give you a realistic timeline up front — and we'd rather under-promise than rush something and get it wrong.

Do I pay everything up front?

No. We typically split things into a few milestones, so you pay as the work grows. For larger projects we'll set up a schedule that feels fair to both of us before we start.

What if I don't know exactly what I need?

That's completely normal, and honestly our favorite kind of conversation. We'll help you figure it out together. The first chat is free and there's no obligation to go further.

Will you maintain it after launch?

Gladly. Every project includes a stretch of after-care, and most clients keep us on for ongoing support. We don't build something and disappear — that's not how gardens work.

Do you work with people outside your time zone?

All the time. We've got clients across several countries and we're used to making the distance feel small. A little overlap in our days is usually all it takes.

Can you take over a project someone else started?

Often, yes. We'll take a careful look at what exists, tell you honestly what we find, and let you know whether tending it or replanting it makes more sense.
